Share photo with stats not working and opens the camera gallery instead

When you want to share an activity from Garmin Connect and select Share Photo With Stats the camera gallery opens instead of sharing a photo with the running stats.

Can anyone please try to share "photo with stats" of their activity and see if it works?

But that´s totally correct!

You have to select a picture, which gets the stats-overlay.

But what won´t work is the custom implementation from garmin to select the image. It does not show the latest images, several old images are missing, too and they mix all folders together.
Totally unusable to shot a picture, open connect and overlay the statistics. Because it took days until you see the image in this custom gallery.

Why using something stock, which is working, if you have the possibility to make it worse on your own...

Gee. I understand now. I thought this would share some sort of a screenshot with the stats of my activity. I didn't think that it will overlay it on some photo...how is this useful? but ok...

I totally get what you mean by how the images are shown...
