Calendar colors in app Android Why they do not follow with different workout colors ?

each activity having TYPE and COLOR why they are not shown in calendar this way ?  each activity different color and icon ??

    Yes this is needed badly. I agree as I do strength and run, it shows same green color. This is available for website, but for app it does not work. Adding color or text will be great for analysis. 

    Even if they write initials that is fine ( ex run, str, swm etc).

    This feature has to come in app as we can't differentiate between activities, and always need to click to check.

    There are already plenty of colors used for different Calendar items, so adding even more for diverse activity types would make absolutely unreadable. Personally I prefer knowing that activity is green, steps blue, sleep pink, workouts orange, etc.

    We can hide calendar items in " filter calendar" , I can see in my case and bartozius who started the thred, we only use the calendar for activities ( or we dont use the watch 24*7, we only want to keep track type of activities).

    So it's important for us.

    Atleast Running, Cycling, Swimming and Gym and Fitness ( strength)  should be given separate colors.

    Suppose I pickup 2 of them randomly each day for 5 days a week, ( hide other items in calendar view ) after two weeks - I have 10 green bars. 

    Only way to know how many times i did swim is to count manually. 

    So I suppose calendar can get better if they add 4 more colors, may be 5th for miscelleniius. 5 colors are not much.

    Yes! Or maybe icons for each activity ? instead of color bars ?  Just to have easy and quick overview like in web calendar.
    I've been web designer in past so, I know that add the colors or icons options to the web or app calendar is so easy! 

    Garmin is so behind they rivals regading the Web and app for their devices!!   STRAVA & Training Peaks are much better platforms!  But we paid Garmi so much money for their devices... They schould give us a better software!

    I'm also unable to change colours on my android phone. There isn't a down arrow option next to calendar in my app like one above. What phone is this on?
