How do I get GCM segments to show the same segments as on GC Web?

I used to subscribe to Strava Premium but no more - TrainingPeaks is getting my money... I've enabled Garmin segments and can search for and send segments to my Edge 830 from my phone.

On my phone, when I go to the Segments section (under Training) I was expecting to see my starred and created segments. What I do see is a grand total of 9 segments (4 whose titles start with a number and 5 with letter A as the first letter of their title). That's all.

Am I expecting too much to be able to see my starred segments?

Strava or Garmin segments? Strava -> no Strava summit analysis, no segments.

If Garmin segments then press search (magnifying glass) -> on the map you will search for an area, you can select a segment manually or press "list" to receive a list of segments in a given area.
