Garmin fenix 5s plus - no sysnc with the latest android version on Samsung Galaxy s8

Garmin fenix s5 plus ( sw version 7.60 (2d0c67a)) does not sync with the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 android version
garmin connect version 4.20
Samsung android version g950fxxu5dsfb/g950foxm5dsfb/g950fxxnu5dsfb

The watch is seen by the phone, but the sysc is unsuccessful (not arriving at the point where the numeric code is exchanges between the two devices). Done all the re-sets and uninstalls possible.

On other phones (Huawei) the sync is ok.

Any one else having this issue? Known issue? Any solutions?

It just happened to me as well. I can not sync them anymore.
I've removed the device from the app and try to add it back but without success.

Have you removed device from phone's Bluetooth config as well? After removing it from GCM.
