Incoming calls not being displayed on Pixel 3

I have just bought a Vivoactive 3 and paired it to my Pixel 3. All the notifications are working except for incoming calls. I just get the missed call notification, no ringing nothing.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Looks like a new Google Phone version was released (show up as yesterday, Jul-15)...same problem exists.

Garmin? Are you going to do something?

If you desire you can also revert to the previous version of Google Phone: 31.0.241960258 April 26 2019. APK Mirror has it and works fine.

I have a Pixel 2 and this started happening to me too (Fenix 5X). Another forum message mentioned the issue was caused by the version of the "Phone" app on the phone. I uninstalled the "Phone" app and reverted to the version that shipped with the phone (happens automatically) and it all works again. I have now set my apps to manual update and review them at some point during the day (not updating the Phone app).

Pixel 3 with a Vivomove have the same issues.

This appears to be a bug in in the latest version of Android, June 5th Security update to be more precise.

Tried the method described by Kermi and it has worked so far

Just installed the latest version of Google Phone v34.0.253691707. The problem still exists...incoming call notifications still do not alert the watch.

Just quickly do you mean the version of Android? Not the actual connect app?

Revert the version of Google Phone (not Garmin Connect) to Google Phone: version 31.0.241960258 or earlier.

Going on two months now. Multiple threads. Neither Garmin nor Google responds to support help on this. Just really poor customer service. At least acknowledge it and give a time frame.
