Change Auto Lap function from miles to kms

How do you change the Auto Lap distances from miles to kilometres on a Vivosport? Everytime I run it's giving me data for split times in miles (every 1.61kms) but I want it to auto lap at 1km so I have accurate split times?

I just worked it out on my Vivoactive if anyone is still having this problem. Press the activity button and select Run, then swipe up and click settings. Then click on Auto Lap and change it from 1.61…

Hi folks. I was having the exact issue on my 245 and it's fixed by going to the watch, go to run activity the timer screen. Long press the UP button. Then go to Run Setting and then look for auto lap then…

I'm having the exact same problem....there doesn't appear to be a way to change the auto lap from mile to km

I managed to get mine to change yes, I adjusted the settings on the website version of the mobile application. Then once I had Synced my watch to the App it automatically changed on my next run... try that and I hope it helps you... I have to say it is very frustrating!

I have the exact same problem. Everything is set to kms but the only thing stuck in miles is the lap splits. So frustrating!!! Anyone else have a solution?

I just worked it out on my Vivoactive if anyone is still having this problem. Press the activity button and select Run, then swipe up and click settings. Then click on Auto Lap and change it from 1.61 to 1.00km. Hope this helps!

I recently moved from a Fitbit to a Vivosmart 4 and had the same problem. I changed every setting I could find to metric / KM but I would get a lap every 1.61km or 1 mile.

I fixed this by updating the vivosmart 4 software to version 4.2 which has the comment "Fixed autolap distance units" in the change history.

To do the update I had install Garmin Express on my PC and connect my vivosmart via the charging cable to my PC. The Garmin Connect app on my phone doesn't update the software. You have to use Garmin Express.

I still can't find any lap options in the menus but my vivosmart is now lapping every kilometre. It also now has connected GPS which it didn't out of the box.
