Vivoactive 3 is stuck at software version 5.2 and would not upgrade to the next version, says there are no updates when synced through Garmin express... Unable to download apps through connect iq...

Unable to update the software of my vivoactive 3 beyond the version that shipped with it (5.2)... Tried using the mobile connect app as well as the Garmin express on Mac... And therefore not able to access connect iq to download any news apps...
