A Problem occurred while attempting to sign in

After upgrading to a Galaxy S10 a few weeks ago, I still have yet to be able to sign in. I can sign in fine online and on my iPad. 

I've tried reinstalling, clearing data/cache, force stop, checking my time zone, checking my country.... Every single time it says"a problem occurred while attempting to login to Garmin Connect"

Any other ideas?

The fact that you can't connect your watch to your phone without the app is ridiculous. I'm frustrated that I spent $200+ on a smart watch that can't connect to my phone.
