Notification always displayed even if already read

Hello experts,

In my Garmin Connect Android App I keep having a Notification displayed in the right-lower corner... but I already read it.

How can I get rid of it?

I had the same problem, and the solution was to go in to the notifications, and instead of just reading the message, swiping it away.

To me neither, I tolerated it for ages!
