Past data not showing in connect following new phone

Hoping someone can shed some light on this for me.

I have had an Instinct paired with my phone via connect android for the past 5 months. I can view this past data in the app. Today I paired the Instinct with a new phone (with connect installed). It has paired and synced but only data from today is showing in the app.

Looking on the connect site on the pc  no past data for steps, HR, floors etc is visible, although I can see some activities (mainly walking data).

I re-paired the Instinct with the old phone and in the connect app on the old phone  all the old data is still visible. When I look at connect on the pc, however, the old data is still not visible.

Is there any way to get this old data from the old phone onto the new phone or the pc version of connect?

    thanks for taking time to reply.

    I don't think, so although anything's possible. Not sure how I can check for certain. It may be the case that another account was somehow created when I paired the instinct with the new phone.

    Edit to add.  I think you may have pointed me in the right direction. I'm looking into it now but it does seem like I'd used a different (little used email that I keep for certain activities) to originally set up the instinct. When I paired it with the new phone I think I used my regular email hence the conflict in available data. I'm trying to resolve it now.

    Have confirmed that a new account was created when I paired the instinct with the new phone. Am going to delete the new account and try to update the old one. It may remove this account too so just updating the thread for completeness in case it's of help to anyone else in the future.

  • Ifr you saved an activity to the wrong account, you can export it and re-import it into the correct account
