Not sure if I'm posting in the correct section here. I have a GPSMAP 64s gps that I use for paragliding. I would like to know if there is a way to keep the gps connected to my android phone via bluetooth. The android apps I use as flight computers can use external sensors so I'm hoping it is possible to connect my gps in order to use the location data and air pressure data from that in my apps. This would help save battery life on the phone.
It seems like the bluetooth only does once off data transfers. If there is a way to keep it connected so it can feed data to my phone that would be awesome.
Anyone know if this is possible?
