Advanced sleep monitoring

On my vivoactive3 how do I set my device with advanced sleep monitoring as my preferred activity tracker

You do not do it on the watch, but in the Garmin Connect app: tap the device symbol at the top, tap Activity Tracking, and the option is at the very bottom of that screen
