Pushing workout plans to Garmin Connect Android and then on to my 920XT

Dear all,

I am using Endomondo Training Plan for running, with sprint and rest intervals. I can export a future run - say tomorrow's run - to FIT or TCX format.

How do I push the TCX or FIT file to my 920XT, using either my Android Garmin Connect, my Windows 10 based Garmin Connect or using Garmin Express?

I have looked everywhere, and cannot find a solution!

Thanks
Mark
  • Hi,
just create a Training on the Garmin Connect Website.
(Optional) Then change to calender and drag&drop the Training on the day, where you want to do the run.
Now you can open you Garmin Connect Mobile App and open the Calendar. On the upper right you find a device which looks like you want to synch to a smartphone. That´s the button to transfer the trainings to your watch.

Start the running app and now you can scroll to the bottom and select "Trainings". Or in case of using the calender, it will ask you automatically to start.
  • mark_lester_colclough I can't find the import function at the moment (I'm sure it used to be there) but you can do the following:
    • Plug in device via USB.
    • Open Garmin device folder.
    • Open NewFiles.
    • Copy your .FIT workouts file(s) into the NewFiles folder. ...
    • Eject device.
    • You should see your workout under the workout under Training > Workouts> Workout Title.
This is from the Training Peaks website but should work for Endomondo
