Connect App No Connection on Android but on IOS

Today I got my Viviosmart 3 and downloaded the Garmin Connect App for Android (on Samsung S6 and Samsung S3).
On S6 it has Version Number 4.15.1
I tried to connect via WLAN and LTE. It does not work. I repeated a lot of time, also restarting the Smartphone and stopping Kaspersky.
I entered the right password (I tried a wrong to see what happens: an error was shown). So I'm using the right password and eMail which is also working
with Windows.

Then I took an iPhone on which I installed the same App and it works perfectly.
With same password and eMail.

I tried Android before and after the iPhone. This means the Server is not down but it does not work for Android.
Not on S6 and not on S3 from Samsung.

I also switched of the developer mode of the S6.

What happens here?
Why there is no connection possible?
Is there an older Version apk to test?

Thanks for help.

    I have some additional info.
I tried another Android device which works fine. It is a Tablet with Android 8.0 (And of course iOS devices)
The S6 with Android 7.0 does not connect.

Is there a solution planned for Android 7 and below?

    Thanks.

My LG G6 with Android 8.0 does not work after the last update on Feb 19. No syncing no matter what I try. Older version apks will not work either for me. Tried a few different older versions earlier today.
  • I have found that once I connect to iOS, connecting to Android is difficult while bluetooth is turned on in OS. What I do is turn off bluetooth on my iOS device, connect to Android and then turn my iOS device's bluetooth back on.

    Hi,
    thanks for the Postings.
Connecting the Watch to the Smartphone and synch is no problem for me.
BUT I can't connect to Garmin Connect Server from an Samsung S6 with Android 7.
I can connect to Garmin Connect from a Tablet with Android 8.
I can connect from an iPhone to Garmin connect.

Anybody with Connection Problems to Garmin Connect Server?

I have a Sony Z5 compact running Android 7.1. I can access the connect server no problems from the Connect Mobile app (v4.16.1), and also if I fire up a web browser on the phone and go to the Connect website.

Restart your gadget. It may sound straightforward, yet once in a while that is everything necessary to fix a terrible association.

In the case of restarting doesn't work, switch between Wi-Fi and portable information: Open your Settings application "Remote and systems" or "Associations". ...

    Attempt the investigating ventures underneath.

    Thanks for your answers.
I tried much restarting App, Smart Phone. Tried to use WLAN and LTE. The App has all rights ...
The connect App seems to send username and password. When the password is wrong it tells me that it is wrong. The right password is accepted
but after that there ist the connection error.

I'm able to connect with Samsung A6 Tablet all times and synchronize the data.
But this is not my main device.

I hoped that someone else has the same problem and found a solution.

I tried Garmin support. But they answred weeks later and wanted to call me. But they don't .
Instead they made a survey and asked how excellent the service was which helped me.
No help, and even no service.

    So I try this forum.

Android with no connection to garmin connect? Any body with this problem?

    Thanks,
    Michael
