Did any get the special badges for running on the 23rd and 24th?
  • There has been some confusion around some badges that were awarded to some users this weekend. Please feel free to post the name of the badge you believe you should have earned, but many users have mistakenly thought that they should be awarded badges for specific events. These badges require users to run a specific distance, on a specific date and at a certain location. The Gasparilla badge for instance required a user to start their run at the starting line of this race.

Ok that clears it up. It did only state the distance and not the physical location. I was under the impression that is Gasparilla was a virtual race.

This was definitely not specified on the badge description, that is NOT "confusion" - it is lack of information

  • Garmin-Blake - this also seems a bit of a strange deviation from the general principles of the badges. This is a Global multi-country product and yet this race is only accessible to a miute fraction of the users. If the plan is to select major races in all the regions that the devices are marketed in then I can see some logic but otherwise it just seems like a strange exception.

Hi, I also ran all 4 distances that wknd thinking I was gonna get the badges, very disappointed when I didn't??
  • The description didn't mentioned anything about location. Disappointing only the members which participated the Gasparilla event will get these badges.
