Activate Location warning (unwanted)

If you can't use DoNotDisturb on the phone and/or Garmin device (because you're on call or standy for example) there is no real easy solution, but using a location faker app might be an idea. If you trust the app. It's hard to make sure that the location service only uses the (faked) GPS, and not (also) uses Wifi or GSM base station information.

Edit: I've used a few of those apps and they were (few years ago) pretty awful (battery usage, ads, network traffic), be careful.

i've updated from 4.8. to 4.15 because of the LiveTrack issues …
now i get a warning to activate my Location service, so the weather info can be updated
for security reason I don't want my location service be active .. but also I do not want to get a warning every day (especially not when i'm a sleep)
How can i fix this?

I had the same problem, I blocked in Android the ability to send notifications for Connect application, there is silence now :)

I find out that the app now has app setting in the Android - Apps - Connect - messages -
called "Weahter" which can be swicht off … I did .. hope this helps
