Syncronization of activities didn't finished after Update Garmin Connect App to 4.15

Hello,


yesterday Garmin Connect App was updated to version 4.15 on my mobile phone (Huawei p10 lite). Since this Update Garmin Connect App will syncronisize with my Fenix 3 HR but syncronisation of activities didn't finished. Syncronisation of heartbeat, steps, notifications etc. works fine, only activities can not be syncronisized. With Garmin Connect on my computer it works also for activities

    same here on my Fenix 3 and Samsung S8. I've downgraded to 4.13.8 wich solved the problem.

    Same here on 920xt. I've even left it overnight and it never completed. As a test I manually uploaded an activity to Garmin, and it still didn't show on my phone. So I turned off bluetooth on the phone, then it syn'c off the server. BT back on, still wouldn't complete spinning around.

    Re-installed the app from the Play Store, no change. I'm not wanting to side load an APK, so since it never completes the sync I've just turned bluetooth off, and will have to manually sync until this is fixed.

  • Me too with 735XT and Android 8.2 on Huawei Mate 20 Lite. When will come solution?
  • I have the same problem with VivoActive HR and Connect v 4.15. Certain activities appear when I sync in connect (Steps, Floors, Treadmill running etc) but other items such as heart rate and sleep do not appear. Similarly items that do appear in Connect eg steps if I click on them I see the steps as they were when I last synched via express. I have to periodically synch via usb and laptop via express to properly update. Are Garmin aware of the problem?.
  • I've the same problem with vivoactive 3 v.4.15 I can't sync with STRAVA AND NRC APPS. I don't konw what happened with the 4.15 version., Please somebody knows what can I do?

  • I can confirm the problem with the Forerunner 935 (v12.20) and GCM for Android 4.15
    This does not occur every sync but sporadically. Then, the sync progress bar inside the app is stuck somewhere in the middle and will not proceed anymore until the app is restarted. This never happened with previous app versions, it seems to be a bug introduced with 4.15

    It is worth mentioning that the link with the watch is not fully broken then, the current heartrate readings are constantly updated, which means the connection is still alive, just the sync is broken.
  • I saw that with my VivoActive 3 when I first installed 4.15. Got HR to sync but nothing else. I killed the GCM app and restarted and it has worked fine since. Rebooting the phone would accomplish the same thing. Very funky.

    Same problems with fenix 5X, Samsung S7 Edge and GCM 4.15:
    +) activities don't get synchronized/uploaded
    +) current HR is displayed but not the time series of HR
    +) details for steps are not availabe
    +) etc

    GCM 4.15 seems to be buggy...

    COMPLEMENT (22-Feb-19): a hard reboot of my fenix 5X solved the problem!

    GCM 4.15.1

    Activities don't get syncronized if sync via bluetooth from Fenix 5X to phone. If I connect via cable to the laptop and sync using Garmin Express, then all will be uploaded to GCM.
    Revert to GCM 4.13.8 and activity sync works again, albeit a bit slow. But works.

    Garmin, please fix this issue.

    Not going to do hard reboot (or reset with all data lost)
