I am getting ready to unistall GCM and only let my watch communicate with my laptop which is a major headache to have to plug in my watch to update exercise data instead of using GCM mobile.
Because of spam calls, I have blocked numbers on my phone. Every time I get respammed with robocalls, my Forerunner 935 gets a notification which is irritating to say the least.
Thus far I have done the following (which is more than I would like but it is not working and the only notifications my watch is getting is these darned blocked calls and, yes, I am on the do not call list and yes I have reported the number but it is 40-50 times a day):
-Disabled Notifications from Connect on my phone settings [phone, not Garmin Connect]
-Gone into Smart Notifications and disabled all notifications
-Gone into App Permissions and only have Location and Camera turned on - I do like to use the "find my watch" and "find my phone" bluetooth feature
-Reset my watch and made sure firmware is up to date
-Uninstalled, reinstalled, re paired watch with Garmin Connect
-When I get a notification on my watch I select block app which seems to be a meaningless option.
ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS?
