Last 7 Days Calories Avg Daily always too low

Garmin Connect shows a "Last 7 Days" summary of your activities and health stats. But the Calories Avg Daily number is useless because it apparently includes today, even though the day isn't over yet. So the average calculation is always too low, at least until near midnight.

Could Garmin please fix this so the average calculation only counts complete days?

I agree, the last 7 days should not include the present day, statistics becomes useless if it does

This is a pet peeve of mine as well. Data is useless unless it only includes full days. Can this really be that hard to fix?

Can we get some sort of response from Garmin on this???? Like the watch a lot but this feature and the fact that there hasn’t been any effort on Garmins part to address it is the first thing I think about/talk about when someone asks me how I like it. How hard can this really be to fix??

In "User Settings", ensure you've set "Activity Class" to "7."

For some reason, anything else seems to bork calorie burn.

Have made that change but it hasn’t made any difference in the fact that Garmin includes the current day in average calorie burn, meaning it’s pretty much useless until close to midnight every day. Can’t believe that this thread could persist for over a year now with no legitimate response let alone a fix. Not a tech guy but it can’t be that friggin hard.

I have just come on here to find out if we can change the last 7 days to not include today as the calorie average is so off.

It is so irritating to see Garmin Forerunner App include the incomplete day in the last 7 days average calculation. Average results ends up being too low until evening. School boy error really. Please fix this.

Garmin SHOULD NOT include the current day as it gives a false average. This must be an oversight on their end as it is not logical to include current day. @Garmin please fix this.
