Name of course (track name) not as same as between eTrex 35 and Connect

Hello,

I'm from Germany and my english is not so good, but I hope I can spell as follow :-)

I use Garmin eTrex 35 Touch and it's connected with Garmin Connect App, mostly I use it for cycle. After finish of trip I describe the name of course like "Cycle around the sea" ,and save the track, then the track is upload to the Connect. But on Connect the course name is different and not as same as I describe on eTrex 35 before. On connect I just see the course name of location.

Why is it not the same name? Can you help me please? Thanks!

The reason "why" is actually irrelevant. It just works this way. Garmin Connect has its own naming logic and puts its own names to all uploaded activities. This can be somewhat controlled by Garmin Connect settings, but I believe it is not possible to automatically transfer track names from the etrex to garmin connect.

Thanks, sound not good, the track list is not clear, because too many same names. My connect also synchronise to my Strava account, Strava names are different too, not as same as names of Garmin. Not a good solution :(
