Bug: Custom-App Settings are gone!

In the past, I could configure my apps comfortably via Connect App.
There have been a long way to reach the app, via Watch -> Activity & App-Management ->Activity & Apps -> My App.
Now I can only see "Deinstall" and "Show in Store". "Settings" are missing!

The App definitely worked in the past (because it´s mine, which I developed myself).
And it still works via Garmin Express.

So my conclusion: It´s a Bug in Connect Mobile for Android!
  • You are not alone seeing this. In an earlier thread some people have found a workaround, but it doesn't work for my Connect IQ app that is still in beta mode, only for apps downloaded from the store.

    Workaround
    * Unfavorite the app
    * Kill the Garmin Connect app on the phone
    * Start the Garmin Connect app again and the settings menu will be present
    * The app can the be configured once again. After configuration the app can be favorited again, but this will most likely cause the settings menu to disappear upon app (Garmin Connect) restart, which will the require using the workaround again.

  • Thank you for the proof and this workaround!

    Then it is easier for me to use Express once in a while, to change my custom activities name :D

    And maybe, in a future,far, far away, it will be solved ;)
