Personal 40k cycling record not updating on the GC android app

First time I cycled 40k was back in September. But since then I've improved the time for my 40k at least three times.
My Edge 25 knows the correct record time.
The Garmin Connect website knows the correct updated record time.
But the Garmin Connect android app seems to be stuck on the original record time.

I broke both my distance and 40k time records in one ride on Friday. The distance record has updated correctly, but the 40k time is still stuck on September's value.
(I HAVE accepted the time as a record at the Garmin Connect website.)

This seems like a silly little bug that might need squashing. I believe the other records are updating fine, but the cycling 40k is not updating on the android app.

Anyone else got this issue?

I would try deleting the app cache. Might be different, depending on your model of phone.
Settings >> Apps >> Connect >> Force Stop >> Storage >> Clear cache. Open GCM.

Thanks. I'll look at that, but I doubt it's the cause. I switched phones a few weeks ago so there would have been no cache on the new one and the record had been beaten at least once or twice by then.

Edit to add: No it didn't work, the 40k record still shows the original 2:16:29
