PRIVACY: Set access at activity level

I want to share a single activity without making all activities public....is this possible? Or does it happen by default using the unique URL ( i.e. you can't look up the user and view all activities...they have to be shared one by one?)

Via GC web, view activity. In the top right is a padlock next to a cog. Click padlock and select a permissions option.

OK so it's only possible via Web? Also is there a way to mask start/end location a la Strava?

No, it is not only possible via the web. Privacy Zones are setup here https://connect.garmin.com/modern/settings/privacySettings
