Garmin Connect Wallet & VIMpay - not working!

Hello,

i've bought an Fenix 5X Plus Saphire and im trying to add my VIMpay Account to my wallet.

According to the Wallet its with boon (Wirecard) the only available bank that accepts GarminPay in germany.

But the problem is, im following all instructions and everytime a failure message is popping up:

Failure "This issuing bank is not yet participating in Garmin Pay. Try it soon!"

delete Wallet
deinstall Garmin Connect
delete VIMpay Account
create new VIMpay Account
install Garmin Connect
add my Fenix 5X Plus
add Wallet
insert my VIMpay card data
--> Failure "This issuing bank is not yet participating in Garmin Pay. Try it soon!"

I don't know what to do anymore, i've contacted the VIMpay Support, they said everything is fine, they don't see any problems with my account.

And the Garmin Support is still not answering... im disappointed.
  • Hi,
i had the same problem. You may entered the false number. Use not the PIN (swipe card to levt in VimPay App), you have to swipe to right ;)

Here from the FAQ of Vimpay:

  • I can confirm, that it works fine! If you just enter the correct data :)
Already paid with VimPay in summer and also in different countries. Works great!

Only got issues transferring my wallet to the watch. This did not work on android in the past, so I had to use an iPhone to do so.
