Garmin Connect Mobile Crashes with my Account

I own a BQ Aquaris and a Garmin Fenix 5 - so I had Bluetooth connection issues and had to use an old GCM version. Today I tried to update to the newest version (v4.9.4) after logging in the app crashed immediately - I tried everything, resetting my network/Bluetooth, deleting the app, starting with GPS on/off, wifi on/off cellular data on/off, everything...

In the end I tried to create a completely new Garmin connect account and it worked!! - Has someone also encountered the same problem as myself? Is there a solution? I mean the app probably crashes because of some unexpected data in my account?!
