Garmin Connect Mobile Crashes

Hi,
I previously used my Fenix 3 on my BQ Aquaris - so I alreads struggled around with the syncing problem after the update to Android 8.1. But i managed it to worked.
Yesterday I got my Fenix 5 connected it and everything worked like a charm. This morning I tried opening the GCM app but it always crashes.

I already tried to use an older version v3.20.3 but the same problem occurs here. I also tried to set the app up without connecting to the watch - this works well. If i turn of the internet and connect my watch to it it also works but if I try to switch on the internet (mobile or wifi) it instantly crashes.

I am very frustrated as I also tried to reset my phone and the watch. With my old Fenix 3 the same problem occurs meanwhile.

Is there someone who could help me? I would be very grateful.
  • It's a real madness, we each have a different problem.
    I can not connect my Fenix watches (3 and 5X) by bluetooth from the Oreo update and talking to BQ tell me that the problem is with the application.
    They do not do anything and they know it for more than a month.
    Some of us have been left with a simple wristwatch.
    I can not help you much more, I'm also very frustrated.
  • I managed to get the app working again. At least I can connect the watch for a few minutes. I had to delete the watches on the garmin connect webinterface from my garmin account.

    Update: If I close the app (remove it from running in the background) the whole procedure starts from the beginning.
