Android update has messed up the 30-minute upcoming alarm notification :-(

I updated my unrooted Android device (OnePlus 3T) to Oxygen 5.0.3 (Android 8.0.0 - 3.1.66-perf+ kernel) on June 2nd, 2018 and since that update my Garmin Connect app (version 4.7, May 31st 2018) fails to notify on my vivosmart HR of the upcoming alarm when it's within 30 minutes of the alarm.

Previously it would notify at 2 hours prior, again at 30 minutes prior and finally when the alarm is going off. Now it notifies at 2 hours prior, the notification goes away at 30 minutes prior and doesn't notify at all when the alarm goes off.

I've been meaning to ask if the alarm could be dismissed as it's sounding, rather than in advance, but with this update it's rather trickier and somewhat more annoying.

I would ask if anyone else has found this - but maybe I am just too bleeding edge for y'all ;).

I'll post a suggestion for the app, but thought I'd elicit forum support first to see if there's any clever workarounds I haven't thought of. I don't want to change the alarm app as I've found that the inbuilt alarms are simpler to manage when they're sounding than other apps which sometimes require unlocking the phone to dismiss.

Thanks,
Tim
