Can anyone please tell me if they get current (real time) heart rate on their Garmin Fenix 5x watch face that supports it. I have a Fenix 5x and it seems like it only updates every minute but on the 5 and 5s series it works. I've been told by developers it's a hardware or possibly firmware issue. I don't get any answers from Garmin if there is a fix. Hope someone has answers. Thanks ;)???
This is due to a hardware difference between the 5x and the 5s/5, but seems to be working with the 8.54 beta FW. I've tried a few of mine with that Firmware. Not all WFs will show the HR if it changes during a partial update, so make sure you have one with that ability. For the beta, make sure you install the parts that you copy to remotesw, as the proper version of "display" is probably involved.
