Ver 4.5 is broken

Hi, updated to ver 4.5 today.. After that my Fenix 5x had a connection status of waiting for phone, yet my Connect app stated it was connected. Reverted back to ver 4.4.2, problem gone, connect app indicating connected to Fenix 5, Fenix 5 also indicating connected to mobile. Well done once again Garmin, you very easily break things all the time with your app updated, do you ever do any QA before releasing, or do you rely on your pissed off customers telling you when you have broken something again??????

  • Don't try it,It will cause problems. 2 things you need to do, turn off auto updating of your apps on the mobile, otherwise it will install 4.5. Big pain in the butt, having to turn off auto update,especially if you don't check your app updates regularly. 2nd, have a version apk that you know works, downloaded on the mobile, then by what ever sneaky way the mobile managed to update to 4.5, you can easily revert it back to the version you know that works :)
