Pairing problem

I want to explain here my experience.

I have my forerunner 235 for more than a year.

It was all working well until December 2017

Updates on the firmware and/or the app have broken the possibility to receive notifications and made the synchronisation a horrible headache.

Until firmware 7.70 I was able to synchronise using a previous version of Garmin connect app.

Now that's no more possible: it simply doesn't work anymore.

Some days before, and after numerous complains, I received a call from technical service.

First they say that everything should work with any device with android 4.4 or higher. After speaking for sometime, they told me that they had some problepr with Huawei (of course, not his fault, but Huawei's fault), then with some Samsung (again, cause it's not 100% standard, and not his fault), then they told me that if the device is not updated to latest android, they cannot warranty that it will work (completely opposite to what they said at the beginning, that it should work with any 4.4 or higher). Compete nonsense.

I can send my watch to then, they will check if it work with an iPhone or a phone that they are sure it works. If it's working, then it's all my problem. I have paid for a non working watch.

They don't care about how they have broken the compatibility, they don't care about all the complains they're having...

Thank you Garmin.
