Get audio prompts of last km pace - every km

Hi - I'm trying to replicate a feature I'm used to getting in other mobile running apps (e.g. Strava) that every km will announce what your pace was for the last km and what your current average pace is. How do I do this in Garmin Connect? I have a Fenix 5 watch that I use for tracking.

Thanks,
Dave
  • Hi,
Go to the device icon in GCM,
then device settings, then audio prompts, then you can choose and configure what audio alerts you want.

Also the watch can give you sound and vibe alerts to,
which you can configure through the activity app your using.

Unfortunately that only gives me an alert frequency based on time or lap - not distance.
  • It should give you
    pace
    average pace
    Avg speed
    current pace.

Also you can configure the watch to give you any of these settings and more ( distance alerts etc...) through vibe and sound and a screen display.
    You don't need the phone.

hmm ok - will have a play. Garmin Connect mobile seems to only allow 1 or the other. Reason I want it from the phone is that I want it audibly in my headphones as I have music on whilst running. Don't want to have to keep looking at watch (and falling over!)
  • No don't fall over lol...:-)

Your right, you can only choose one alert from the same group at a time, and as you said, the watch giving the alerts won't be useful to you.
We tried but failed lol :-)
