Connect 4.3

New Update today.
Quite clearly represented:
" />">
After several (manual) synchronizations.

We´ll see tomorrow if there is any data.
Good thing: The notification setup is still present :)

testing right now.....I want to keep the connection for a while since in the past I did not see issues for the first 15 min from pairing my Fenix 5X.
    I'll post feedbacks soon.
Hope that Beta firmware 7.93 also fixed the connection with Huawey phones as per promises (my Nexus 6P is from Huawey).

    EDIT
It seems that the connection is more stable with less drop-out compared to the past.
Hope also the new stable firmware version for Fenix 5X will further improve that. Let's cross the fingers.
  • I noticed also that if i reboot the phone, i always have to clear bluetooth cache again...
  • No sync with watch after update. I have not noticed any issues with this earlier (phone new in May 2017).

Edit: It started working a few hours later, without any me doing anything to get it to work.
  • I was too optimist !
I noticed that after lot of hours with any problems, the notifications doesn't appears anymore... :-(
But the BT icon is still green on my FR235

Sure! But i don't know if is it the same for all device (i own a Galaxy S8 with Android 8.0....)... however, go to settings>application>3 dots up right>show system application>bluetooth>memory storage>clear cache and clear data

I do that fix and notifications works again...

Unfortunately, this workaround doesn't last forever... you have to do this every time that sync doesn't work... in my case after 1 or 2 days or if i reboot the phone...

Yes that's why I'm going back to 4.1.11...
  • 4.3 with version 8.00 on my Fenix 5X is still unstable. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it does and doesn't stay connected.

Finally I've to say that 4.3 with version 8.00 on my Fenix 5X is stable indeed. I had to wait from firmware 3.xx since 10 months to get the BLE connection working as per expectations. Now I have to try the link between 5X and Polar H10 that was again a mess.

Which phone are you using it with? I'm using the Samsung Note 8 with the same versions but no luck.
  • Just used the 5x as a sat nav in the car,
I burned 157callories, after GCM sync, activity in GCM reads 0 callories.
This is not normal and signifies a change in the software.

Tested hike activity and I have the normal results,
    calories were transferred to GCM.
