An issue with Garmin Connect ? Call the support !

Hi,
If you have a issue with your device and Garmin Connect, CALL THE SUPPORT !
DON'T HESITATE !
I called the support yesterday so you MUST call it too in order to raise the complains number.
To call the support go to this page :
https://support.garmin.com
Then choose your device.
Choose "chat" as support, in France they answered me in 2 minutes.
Describe briefly your problem. Then the chatter will give you a mail adress to send log from Garmin Connect.
Go to Garmin Connect, hamburger menu then parameters then "Device diagnostic" (or something like that) click on the "share" logo on the top, choose your mailer and fill the mail adress with the one given by your chatter, the log should be join automatically.
Do the same with the log in "Device synchronisation log" (or something like that).
Engineers will studies this log to find and fix the issue.
DO IT MASSIVELY TO FIX OUR ISSUES
  • This is a good point unless we raise the issues directly with garmin support they won't necessarily see the level of problems or have the information to fix them

The forums are not formally monitored by Garmin so the fact that an issue is raised on here is no guarantee that it will get looked at by Garmin
  • Exactly ! We may complains hours on the forum without any result ! If Garmin's engineers don't have "proof", logs, etc, words are lost...

I think you'll find that many have contact support, including myself - over a week ago. This is evidenced in some of the threads.
If Garmin don't monitor the Forums, or the GooglePlay reviews - well, maybe they should? From what I can see, and have experienced myself, the 4.2.x build is seriously flawed, on almost any platform/product combination and really should have been picked up by the development teams/testers. I fully agree that if a company isn't aware of a problem they can't fix it, but I really don't believe that it is the case here.
Sadly this appears to be resulting in a loss of reputation for Garmin. I do hope that there is a fix soon, but until then I am sticking with 4.1.11!
