Weather info on Fenix 5X wrong/unreliable since latest GC Android update

The Weather widget info on my Fenix 5X is unreliable, I am pretty sure since the latest GC update a couple days ago. Seems slow to update and temperature is thus off by 10s of degrees (and useless). Is anybody else seeing similar behavior?
  • It's not updating on my Vivoactive HR either. I'm sure it happened after the last GC update.
    Some times after restarting my phone it will update but then stops again.
  • I have the same issue on my Fenix 5x. I've tried disconnecting the watch from my phone, as Wells as resetting the watch and reinstalling Garmin Connect for Android, but the problem remains. I'm pretty sure its a Garmin connect bug.

    Same here. Garmin has acknowledged the problem in the Forerunner 935 forum. I wish they would post here since it affects everyone.

    You don't need to reboot your phone. Simply force stop the app (not just close it) and it will resync upon restarting. Still won't update after that though.

    I got my fenix 5s about a month ago and it has always had this problem making the weather app completely useless. I found this thread from google, any fix yet?
  • The weather widget has never been working properly! I think they throw a dice for the temperatures.

    Brand new Vivosmart 4 weather is always wrong. Have tried all the fixes and nothing. How do you get through for help besides waiting on the phone ??
