since some time (a few weeks I guess) I am facing big issues with reconnecting my Fenix 5 to my android phone (Samsung Galaxy S8). Basically when the watch is out of bluetooth range the connection drops, which is obvious. When getting in range again the Fenix 5 claims to be "reconnected", but the bluetooth status on the watch says "open Garmin app". This status does not change any more even when the time between connection lost and reconnection is only a few seconds. Even when opening GCM or restart it the status remains. Sometimes when turning bluetooth off on the phone and on again everything returns to normal. Sometimes only a restart of the phone helps. In some cases I have to wait for some minutes (or even hours) to see it working again. I cannot find any any regular pattern in the behaviour... I already tried to repair the watch with GCM, it does only help for the first connection. Also to note: it does not happen always, but unfortunately most of the time.
Anybody else having this issue?
