Activity photo's taken in Portrait mode, display in landscape on Connect

When complete an activity, I usually take a photo of myself and my phone is oriented to Portrait. When I log on to Garmin Connect and view the activity, the photo I took is sideways (landscape). If I take a photo in Landscape, it stays as such. If I add a photo from my gallery that is in Portrait, it displays as Portrait. Seem that only when I take a photo does this orientation issue happen.

Anyone else have this issue? Or does anyone have an idea how to fix it?

Running app version 4.1.7 on Galaxy S7, Android ver 7.0

A bit over a year and I would have thought this would have be resolved.

I am having the same issue. Sometimes the image is upside down which i assume is based on the orientation of the camera when i take the photo. The images incorrect orientation also displays incorrectly on the the Garmin connect website.

App Version: 4.5.1
Hardware: Samsung Galaxy A7(2017) (SM-A720F-DS)

I have the same issue. Pictures never come out the right way up! Unfortunately your post has been removed. Do you still have it?

I have the same issue here. Thats why I mostly add pictures on strava only. On Strava pictures look good.
