Can I upload an activity from Strava to Garmin Connect....

I forgot to turn my Fenix 5 on for a race. It's recorded on Strava but I'd like to have it on my Garmin stats also.....

pretty similar to what people have said elsewhere:

1. login to strava online

2. click into the activity to see all the data and make sure your activity privacy is public (followers or everyone)

Did you work this out? On the Strava site (not the app) there is an option to export as gpx, in the 3 dot options next to the edit pen...then import into Garmin Connect via Upload or Import activity on…

zipzit (Nice handle form another "zip") if you hit the share option, below the App Icons you should have "Copy", "Save Image", and "Save to Files" options, you can save to various connected cloud formats…

Did you get an answer for how to do this? the Trek Central app for bikes only allows you to export to Strava or Kamoot, but I record everything else on Garmin. Hoping there's a solution!

Hi! Since I was not aware that I needed to start my watch every time I did a training ride I had uploaded my fit file from my cycling app (FulGaz). I did this, replacing my fit file by my strava file, for the last ten days that Garmin did not compute my data (because I was using a «not supported » app. After doing that, Garmin Connect did not adjust my metrics, that is, it does not add the charge of my training nor the status of my training. Consequently, according to connect I am still « undertrained » although I ride on my bike trainer almost everyday at a sustained level. Is there anyway around it or I should simply forget those missing data? Thank you.

It's a shame that Strava -> Garmin export is not working. This way users without "Connected GPS" are actually able to reproduce this feature on any watch where HR broadcasting is available.

I'm not sure if Garmin API has this limitation intentionally
