I'm not getting notifications on my 735xt for incoming text messages. The watch is paired and when I launch Connect it syncs steps, heartrate, etc. In Connect, Settings, Smart Notifications, I have text messages enabled. Can anyone suggestion other settings I need to check or some other steps I can take to figure out why text messages don't buzz me on my watch?
EDIT: I should say that meeting reminders are working great. I am getting watch notifications for upcoming meetings reliably but no watch notifications for incoming text messages.
My phone is a Pixel 2. I got this just a few weeks ago. Text notification to my watch worked fine on my previous phone (Moto G 4) with the same watch. I honestly cannot remember if I've gotten any text alerts from the Pixel 2. I thought that I tested it when I first set the phone up but I can't say for certain.
I love this feature, by the way. When I am on call the text buzz allows me to respond to incidents without waking up my wife with audible alerts on my phone. I really need it to work!
