After last garmin connect mobile updates I had connectivity issues. I have reinstalled garmin connect and now I can not pair my fenix 5x to the huawei p8 lite 2017 smartphone. During pairing phase, codes are continuously generated without completing the connection. On google store play reviews, many users complain about this issue with huawei smartphones after the latest garmin connect updates.
I PURCHASED HUAWEI P8 LITE AFTER HAVE VERIFIED COMPATIBILITY WITH FENIX 5X ON THE GARMIN WEBSITE !!!

Hi, I'm having the very same problem right after the updates to the watches. I have Garmin Fenix 3 and Huawei P10 Lite. This combination was working without problem for several months but after a recent update, it stopped working and i'm unable to pair. This sucks big time.

Some info from my in country support - they say it is a known bug in the Android 7.0 ... so I guess either upgrade or downgrade of the phone will be recommended from Garmin official support.

I have the same problem but before the app update there were not connection issues. And the android version is always the same. The only update on my phone has been for the garmin app.

Have the same problem - everything was O.K. till last change. Now I can`t connect fenix 3 with my P8 lite. The pairng code last few seconds and then vanish. Garmin you need to repair it.

I am facing the same problem with my huawei p10 lite withmy garmin 935...before upgrade my garmin connect app it was ok. But after upgrade my pairing code keep on repeating sending new code and paring failed.

Same problem here with my huawei p10 lite and vivosmart 3. Worked fine untill the update. I just made a extra temporary alarm. Can't delete it now.
I did already sent an email to customer service, but still no answer.

Similar issues here with a Vivoactive Hr and a week old P8 Lite (HR recently updated) was working fine on a P9 lite with previous Android release

Garmin, you have ruined a perfectly good product with this last update. After working fine for 5 months, connection issues became constant. Reinstalled the app, unpair and try to re pair the watch all to no avail. If it isn't broke, why try and fix it. Are you going to sort it immediately or give a refund of the full purchase price of the product?
