Watch disconnected

Hi!
I think since a couple of updates back of either GCM or my F5 the mobile has frequently started to vibrate and produce notifications that the watch has been disconnected.
This is surely related to that the watch is out of reach for BT, however it's annoying that the phone starts to vibrate for 5sec...
The sync is otherwise working fine and I really have no issues with that so the message seems unnecessary.
Any ideas how to turn it off?
  • I'm quite surprised you're the only one here with this issue. It looks like I'm the second one and it's really annoying behavior. I was woken 2 times during night, because my SGS6 started to vibrate wildly.
I solved it by disabling vibration for all notifications on my phone (I don't care much about them), but proper solution which would allow me to disable only this "feature" of Garmin connect would be great.
  • Looks like we are stuck on our own.
I asked Garmin support, of course their solutions is to repair the watch. Of course it doesn't help.

However I've also found a workaround:
On Android - Go into "Settings" > "Notifications" > "Advanced" > "Connect"
Here You have the option to enable silent notifications that also turns off vibration.
    Will do for me ;)

I used to have this happen constantly. When one of the Android updates came in about March, when I swipe down on my Android screen the notifications started to say "BLOCK NOTIFICATION" and "CLEAR ALL". When I got buzzed by my VAHR band I selected BLOCK NOTIFICATION. I think it ended up sending a couple of types of notification that I blocked. it has not buzzed me since.
