Garmin Connect not calculating calories or pushing them to My Fitness Pal

I updated the application through Google Play Store and I noticed that it no longer calculates calories burned when I create a manual activity and it no longer sends the results to My Fitness Pal. This started after the latest update. Anyone else see this?
