Disable auto upload

I have 2 Garmin devices (vívoactive HR and eTrex Touch 35) which I use to track my activities simultaneously. I need to use both because eTrex has problem with average heart rate and intensive minutes are not accumulated. On the other hand the problems don't occur on vivoactive, but eTrex has bigger screen which is great on bike.

So, I would like to track activities on two devices, save it, but upload only from one device (vivoactive). I found auto upload option in Garmin Connect app for eTrex device, but unfortunately it is disabled, so I can't change them. Why? See attached screenshot ('Autoprzesyłanie' means auto upload in Polish).

By design, since version 3.5 of Garmin Connect Mobile, if I recall correctly.

(No, nobody – including Garmin – needs to ‘explain’ or justify the design decisions to users' satisfaction.)

Maybe something could be done in eTrex settings? But I didn't find anything.

No setting for it, other than by disabling Bluetooth connectivity altogether on the Garmin device so that there is no channel on which to communicate and upload data.

It is very annoying and illogical, especially because the option is present in the application, but it is blocked.

It may help if you let Garmin know that you miss this option; you can report it as a problem to Garmin Support and/or suggest it as an idea. The more people let Garmin know that they want this option, the better the chances it will be implemented.
