Calendar sync issue from Garmin Connect mobile

I know there were issues with calendar sync in general recently, but those were supposed to be resolved already. I can update the training calendar on my Forerunner 230 through Garmin Express but not through Garmin Connect mobile app. If I change the calendar, add new workouts or rearrange existing ones these changes do not carry through to my watch. It used to work, now it doesn't. Anyone having similar issues? Any solutions?

I know I can get the calendar sent through Express (or at least it worked last time), but as I don't have a Windows/Mac at home I have to do it at work only so it's really limiting my options of updating training on my watch.

    Did you ‘Send Workouts to Device’ from the Calendar page in Garmin Connect online after you made the changes? If so, did you then initiate a wireless sync, either using the watch's user interface or in the Garmin Connect Mobile app?

    Yes, I did. The problem I see is I can't send the workouts through cable unless I'm at work. The amended schedule shows in my Garmin Connect online and through the app but when I try syc the app with watch the changes don't carry through.

    I'm at work and I need to update my training calendar so I'll try to do it through Garmin Express but I don't understand why it did work through watch-app syc before and it doesn't now.

    UPDATE: I've updated the calendar through Garmin Express and that worked well.
