No notifications on my Garmin (Nougat with Garmin 1000)

Hi all,

I know this has been mentioned/asked in the past, I have searched and read various posts, but no joy :(

I am trying to identify if the issue is with my phone OS or something Garmin related.

I have a Nexus 5 running Nougat (android 7) and a Garmin 1000, the issue is I can not get any notifications on my Garmin from my phone.

I'm running Garmin Connect 3.16, the Garmin 1000 is up to date. I have the Garmin paired to my phone, I have GCM configured for sms, phone calls and FB Messenger notifications.

I have tried it with both Bluetooth connectivity assistance/connection aid enabled and disabled.

I have paired, unpaired, re-paired the devices, rebooted by devices, etc. I read the sticky thread about enabling native Bluetooth connectivity, but I don't have that option (If I press and hold on the Garmin device in GCM, I only get "cancel" and "delete" - nothing about "re-pairing"?

Can anyone help???

    I have a F3HR and I don't have any notifications either, after my GS7 updated to Nougat. I think it is a Nougat issue. I can't find a solution with any of the suggestions I've tried.

    BUMP THIS THREAD.
    I am seeing the same issue. Vivoactive and Forerunner 235

    I was pushed Nougat on 3/7/2017 and my notifications are gone.

    I have a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge on verizon. I called support yesterday to start a research ticket. I know Android change their notification center and I think Garmin has to change something on their side with Garmin Connect....Nougat did break it, but Garmin would be responsible to fix their app.

    No notifications, started 5-8-17

    I have both 920xt and Vivoactive - neither is receiving notifications since yesterday (5-8) on my S7E on Sprint. I've been running Nougat for at least a couple months so I don't think that's the issue for me. I've cleared data, unpaired, checked settings on phone, watches and mobile app...I can get them to work once after all that jacking around but then it stops again. The watches sync all other information to the app fine, it's just the notifications I'm not getting.
