Garmin connect Nougat issues

Hi. After the upgrade of my Asus Zenofone 3 ZE520KL to Nougat, Garmin connect has issues in reconnecting my device when I go far from the phone and I go back. Until I'm near the phone all is ok and notifications are perfect. When i go out for a while and then come back near the phone I must open the app and wait 30 seconds until the app reconnect my Garmin or restart my phone. With Android 6 I had no problems so I think the issue is with Nougat. If my garmin is non connected and I switch on my Bluetooth headphones they work perfectly. I don't think is my bluetooth stack issue but something in the software. Thanks

After some search found out that was the battery optimization of the Garmin Connect Mobile that was giving those problems and need to disable it.

Settings - Battery - Battery optimization (3 dots on right top) - search for all apps and disconect the Garmin Connect Mobile

Thanks but unfortunately that does not help me. Almost every time I look at my Android phone it still says "Bluetooth Troubleshooting Garmin device has disconnected".

As the range is only one meter I can reach for the mouse on my computer and end up out of range so all I want is it to stop reporting disconnects or even just stop vibrating when it issues the report.

    Battery Optimisation

    Hello,
I set Connect Application as no batterie optimization in the parameters of my phone, but it doesn't help. When I'm out of range my watch disconnect, but never reconnect if I come back...
Asus Support assumes there is no issue with Android 7.0 with this, it related to Garmin issue...
I send a mail to Garmin Dev team but no reply from them.

I test something with my phone, my fenix 3 and a Bluetooth headset.

If I test my Phone and Pairing Headset, if I am out of range, my heaset disconnected, and have ability to reconnect automaticlly after.
If I test my phone and pairing Fenix 3, if I am out of Range, my Fenix 3 disconnected, and can't reconnect automatically.

If I test my Phone with my pairing headsetand pairing wath, if I am out of Range, both dicsonnected, but when I come back, both reconnect automatically ! the Fenix is able to rconnect !

Is it like if the bluetooth link is keeping alive even if both are disconnected and they can reconnect. Bluetooth to Fenix 3 can't do this if it is alone paired...

    Any ideas please ?

    Thks

    Fenix 3HR no notifications

Since my GS7 updated to Nougat, all the notifications on my F3HR have stopped, except for BT "disconnecting" and "reconnecting", and even that is worse. My phone can be in my pocket and I'll sometimes get a disconnected notification.

The only notifications I want from my phone are text and call, and neither work. I've tried the settings on my phone, the setting in GCM and even deleted the watch from the bt setttings and reconnected it.

The only thing I haven't done is delete the GCM app and reinstall it. Guess I'll do that next...smh.

Update: Master Reset my F3HR and during the process of reinstalling my widgets, the Google Calendar widget was giving me a problem. Uninstalled it and a text came through Google has changed the way 3rd party apps access our Google Calendar.

Any updates on this? 2 days ago I got android nouget and I can not receive text notifications on my F5X. Calls and emails come through but text are not working. If i change permissions I will get one text to come through but after that one text it wont send anymore.
