Can't connect to Connect IQ store via GCM app on my phone..........

I just get an Error message when trying to do so.

I reported this to Garmin and after several email exchanges they are suggesting that my VAHR needs replacing. Wow, I haven't got the faintest idea what they're going on about!

Does anyone else know why I get the error on the app, or has anyone else had the same issue? I can connect fine via the web, just not via the app!
  • I have the same issue. I use my Gmail login, it works for everything else but connect iq just errors out.
  • I questioned Garmin support over the faulty VAHR suggestion. They retracted it - fair enough, we all make mistakes.

    I gave up with them in the end though as nobody can fix my issue! To be honest it doesn't appear to be a common problem.

    My phone recently updated to Android 6 Marshmallow but I still have the same problem. I've checked McAfee AV software to see if it's blocking the URL for the Connect IQ store, but that looks ok.

    It's all still a mystery!
  • I now have the solution!

    I've just found that an update for Android System Webview had failed at some point. Once I manually allowed the update to dl & install again, the app then connected to the IQ store.
