Live Track Auto Start, But No Auto Stop!

I'm on the latest versions; when I enable live track auto start, it repeatedly does not auto stop when I end my run from the Garmin Fenix 3 HR. When is this going to be fixed?

I have the exact same problem with my Edge 820 and my VivoActive HR (and the ForeRunner 220 I just got rid of).

It's been killing my phone battery if I don't stop it manually, and makes my wife think I'm still riding or running and might be stuck somewhere!

A fix would be very much appreciated.

Live track does not stop

I have same problem and it stops the watch from syncing with the Connect app too so it's very annoying! Fix please!

It' fixed with some firmware update (ie Fenix 5) but my problem with livetrack is that.. it doesnt work!
It starts then it freeze, eventually update the position once, then update when i stop.

that's really annoying, does anyone has an idea on how to fix that?
