Moto Z Play compatibility

Hi folks, I recently switched from my Nexus 6P to the Moto Z Play. I now experience serious BT issues with mit Vivoactive HR. Very annoying.

I read here: http://static.garmincdn.com/gcm/BLE_Android.pdf that the "Moto Z" did not pass Garmin's internal BT tests. No word about the Moto Z Play.

I'd like to here from Moto Z Play users what their experiences are. Have you problems, too? Did they get better with Android 7.0?
