Garmin Connect App + Bluetooth HRM

I'm looking forward to buy a Garmin Vivoactive HR as my next smartwatch (seeing how Pebble is being bought by Fitbit and uncertainties in Pebble Time 2 future) but I have a few concerns.

1. I currently am using Polar H7 (Bluetooth + Polar GymLink HRM) paired with Endomondo for working out. Despite the fact that I just paid 1 year subs on Endomondo, I guess if I have to change I will change but will Garmin Connect mobile app pair with any Bluetooth HRM? I know that Garmin's devices are all using ANT+ but I wonder if the app can accept Bluetooth HRM as well.
2. Will the watch display the data from the Bluetooth HRM??

I guess if the app doesn't accept it, I still have few workarounds that I can work with Endomondo but if it will work this way it's much better.
  • The Garmin Connect Mobile app will neither take HR data in real-time from any (Bluetooth or ANT+) HRM paired with your mobile device, nor display real-time HR readings continuously on a dashboard.
  • You're getting a new device that will require you to change the way you do things. Rather than try to stick to your old way of doing things and lessen the experience, work out how to use the new device to do things better.

Thanks for the answer... If that's the case, I have to consider changing my mix & match ecosystem then... I can't see combining the data that I get from the new device into current system that I'm using right now without me getting all confused when analyzing my workout data later.
