NEXUS 9 Tablet?

Has anyone used Garmin Mobile Connect with a Nexus 9 Tablet and the Vivoactive HR GPS Smartwatch? I contacted Garmin, and they had no idea.

UPDATE: I purchased one at Target for $152 and can verify that it works fine with my Nexus 9 tablet.
